About Simone 

Simone Burley is an accredited social worker since 2010 and is registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. She is passionate about advocating for people with disability, Her aim is to help people imagine and achieve their best life.

She has seen people achieve so much already with appropriate support and funding and is driven to assist people to navigate complex disability systems. Simone has worked for the past 12 years across private and public sector, in-patient and outpatient hospital and rehabilitation settings.

More recently she has been working as a sole trader in the disability sector in the specialist support co-ordination, social work and case management roles. Simone has a solid network in both government and private sector agencies to provide comprehensive case management practice.

Her knowledge of disability and health conditions is extensive and encompasses the following specialties Stroke, acquired Brain Injury, spinal Cord injury, neurological and neuromuscular disorders, amputations and vision impairment have a proven track record of providing high-level clinical and case management skills to make comprehensive independent decisions and judgments on complex cases.

Her interventions are person-centred, and solution-focused. These approaches acknowledge that all people have strengths, and, given access to appropriate resources and support, they can achieve their goals and find solutions to live full and independent lives.
