About Ross
"With 11 years’ experience as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, Ross has developed key skills in case management to build rapport and determine an individual’s overall rehabilitation needs and goals. Ross has a collaborative recovery approach in the co-design of rehabilitation planning and goals that are client centred, goal driven, evidence based and outcome focused.
Ross has case-managed clients with backgrounds related to psychiatric disability, traumatic brain injury, challenging behaviour, spinal cord injury, amputations along with the impact of ageing on disability. He therefore has clinical knowledge and understanding of the complexities specific to each disability and practices a biopsychosocial approach to identify additional biological, social, environmental and psychological barriers and supports required to further an individuals rehabilitation and recovery.
Ross has extensive experience coordinating and involving a rehabilitation team of relevant supports such as practitioners, insurers, family members and community support services in the planning, reviewing and developing of informed treatment and support approaches so as to improve outcomes to the clients recovery, independence and wellbeing."
