About Jo

"I am an occupational therapist with over 30 years’ experience, and have been providing case management and occupational therapy services to adults, both in the acute inpatient and community rehabilitation settings, during this time. I have extensive experience working with clients who have sustained severe and complex injuries, including acquired brain injury, amputation, spinal cord injury, multi-trauma, blindness and dual diagnosis.

I have been providing case management services to icare participants since 2014, facilitating reasonable and necessary treatment, rehabilitation and care services for clients. I am experienced in assessing client care needs, and implementing and monitoring supports around care needs.

My approach to case management is client-centred and goal-focused, working with individuals, families and other social and community supports as indicated. I believe communication, flexibility, problem solving and working as part of a team are integral to supporting clients to work towards their goals, and maximising their capacity to participate in roles that are important to them.

I am able to provide case management services from the onset of injury, throughout the rehabilitation continuum."
