About Jamie

"I am Jamie, an occupational therapist who graduated in 2015. Prior to graduating I also spent several years as a disability support worker. I have worked across the public hospital inpatient setting, public health rehabilitation settings, paediatric rehabilitation, aged care, and community settings.

My experience as an open-minded, think outside the box occupational therapist led me directly to case management. It gives me the opportunity to work closely with people and their family networks to implement the best possible care and supports to them in trying and difficult times.

I am experienced in working with children, right through to adults. I have worked with a wide range of people with complex disability needs. I am flexible and accommodating in my approach, working in people’s homes, schools, communities, and the odd park or beach when I can. I will work with the person and their family to set goals for their recovery to maximise their achievements."
