About Zest Care
Zest Care Family Services has been providing in home support to families since 2002. Our Family Support Workers have a range of skills in supporting families, working with children and young people with health, physical, cognitive and behavioural needs.
We require Family Support staff to have specialised experience and skills to provide person centred supports. Our staff have qualifications in early education, social work and social welfare, nursing and Community Services. We have an on boarding program that includes core online training for all staff.
Targeted support is instrumental to the services we provide with a Case Coordinator carrying a caseload of families involved with our service. Case Coordinators will be the first point of contact for families as well as referring partners. Case coordinators will monitor the engagement and supports been provided to the families receiving services.
Family Support staff are briefed by Case Coordinators who coordinate the services required to achieve the goals set out by each participant. The role of the Case Coordiantor includes debriefing Family Support staff and reviewing intervention strategies as required.
We are a NDIS accredited provider; are ACIS provisionally authorised and are authorised to provide Specialised Substitute Residential Care through the Office of the Children’s Guardian. We have undergone assessment as a Child Safe Organisation and have made a public declaration in providing services and are committed to implementing the Child Safe Principles.
We value engagement and endeavour to build strong connections with those we support by building a care support group for each of the individuals or families we work with. We have an On Call service from 6 pm to 10 pm Monday to Friday. Any emergency call will be escalated to the Manager of the program. Case coordinators are rostered from on weekends from 7:00 to 10:00 pm
