About Michael
I am a social worker who has been working with people with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and their families since 2014. My work has included social work in a hospital inpatient acquired brain injury rehabilitation ward, rehabilitation coordination with a hospital outreach team that supported people and their families in the community, and social work and case management with the NDIS and NIISQ (Lifetime Care’s equivalent in Queensland).
I am also an accredited mental health social worker. I work with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders and other mental health conditions in people with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and their families.
Much of my work has been with people with more than one disability, for example acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and mental health issues.
My work has a strong practical focus providing people, their families and their carers with the skills and supports they need to live a meaningful life. I work out of my clinics in Coorparoo and Camp Hill on Brisbane’s Southside, and visit people in their homes throughout the Brisbane region.
