"I have been a Registered Nurse since 2017 and have been working as a care manager since 2019 in the aged care sector. My focus has been on the delivery or provider of services using Federal Government funds provided through Homecare packages to those over 65.

As a provider we liaise with our clients, careworkers and ancillary health services, such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to ensure that all services are appropriate for each party, especially those with complex health needs, including Dementia.

This can entail delicate and careful negotiations, on both sides and it is at these times, the experience I have gained since 2019 has come to the fore to ensure that clients have their needs met.

This experience has also been invaluable in working with others within our organization including those in accounts, those organizing and scheduling the care worker services to ensure that services not only run smoothly but any issues encountered are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

I am confident meeting with people in person as well as undertaking online discussions and speaking on the phone. I have the ability to problem solve quickly, seek clarification where necessary and liaise with people across all levels. I am kind, considerate, caring and am focused on providing the best service to promote a client’s well-being and quality of life. "
