Do I need a claim number to submit an invoice?
Yes, all invoices require a valid claim number. If the injured worker does not have or know their claim number, please contact the appropriate Claims Service Provider to obtain this.
What should I do if a claim number has not yet been issued to the injured worker?
If the injured worker has not been issued with a claim number, they need to call icare to get one. Injured workers and employers can also visit the make a claim page to create a claim in minutes.
What if I don't know what scheme the patient is insured under?
Medipass will verify accepted claim numbers through the platform. The injured worker can call their Claims Service Provider who will advise which scheme to process the claim under.
Does Medipass integrate with my Practice Management System (PMS)?
Medipass integrates with a number of Practice Management Systems (PMSs) and is continuously adding to this list.
