icare celebrates partnership with disability enterprise Flagstaff

At icare we strive to engage with organisations with purpose and a valuable sense of community. icare is proud to partner with Flagstaff, an Australian registered disability enterprise.

Since early this year, Flagstaff has been managing icare's print management services. Their experienced print team are enthusiastic about customer service and offers tailor-made print solutions, ensuring excellence in quality and brand.

Flagstaff's purpose is to provide life skills and work for people with disabilities in a supportive and inclusive environment. They currently stand strong with 435 employees, more than half of which are living with a disability.

As a registered NDIS provider with a range of community programs, Flagstaff operates several businesses with the purpose of providing meaningful employment for people with disabilities.

For those living with disabilities, finding employment can be challenging due to discrimination, lack of accessible sites and limited task-related opportunities. We look forward to working with the Flagstaff Group and contributing to their vision, for a world that only sees abilities.

To celebrate this new partnership, last Wednesday (April 17), a team of eight icare staff participated in a volunteering day at Flagstaff's Smeaton Grange location to help paint a mural to be featured there.

The event was part of Flagstaff’s celebrations of Youth Week 2024.

"The mural painting project presents an invaluable opportunity for youths with disability to work together to create a dynamic mural representing empowerment, employment, and a reflection of themselves."
Flagstaff CEO, Rod Von Clark
