Shine magazine shares stories, ideas and news for participants of Lifetime Care and Workers Care.
Shine provides participants of Lifetime Care and the Workers Care Program with an opportunity to share stories about life after a severe motor accident or workplace injury. Each issue they can share their unique and moving stories in their own voice.
We hear stories of resilience and rehabilitation, stories from families and carers, heartfelt stories of life before and after a serious injury, and stories of strength and courage.
Shine magazine winter 2024
In this edition of Shine there are themes around the power of sport and recreational activities and the value of setting goals. We have a feature article about getting involved in sport, how it transforms lives and provides connection and purpose. There’s also information about co-designing resources, workshops for carers and families, and the opening of the 2024 Shine Arts Prize.
