Australia's first disabled lawn bowls umpire, Vicki, is a one-of a kind woman who has overcome overwhelming odds to carve her own path and define happiness on her terms.
A volunteer firefighter, mother and chef, tragedy struck Vicki while she was helping to save her local community from a raging bushfire.
Her journey back to life and vitality has been paved with challenges, but she systematically faced and overcome them all.
Today she represents NSW in lawn bowls and is hoping to represent Australia soon.
