icare aligns CSP contract tenures for the Nominal Insurer
icare has extended its contract with Employers Mutual Limited (EML) for 12 months to continue to provide claims management services under the Nominal Insurer until 31 December 2022.
This extension was one of the recommendations of the McDougall Review released in April 2021.
The 12-month extension to 31 December 2022 aligns the end date of the EML contract with that of the Allianz, GIO and QBE Authorised Provider agreements, ensuring continuity and stability of claims management services.
This extension will cover the period necessary to allow for the previously announced procurement process for claims and injury management services to take place.
