Major modifications
Major home modifications are modifications that may alter the structure of your home, they are more complex than minor modifications such as installing rails or temporary ramps.
Examples of structural modifications include:
- Widening doors
- Adding a wet area or shower
- Adding or removing a wall
- Erecting a permanent external ramp
- Erecting a new structure (e.g. carport or veranda).
Our Home Modifications team will come and meet with you to assess your home and discuss options. You will be involved in all decisions about the modifications. Our aim is to ensure you can return home as soon and safely as possible.
