Para-triathlon

Clint PickinIn 2014, while working on his family friends dairy farm, Clint got his foot caught in a machine that turns hay into feed for cattle. After being flown to hospital, his foot was amputated.

As part of his rehabilitation, Clint took up Para-triathlon and realised he could be a first-rate competitor. He went on to win a Para World Cup Bronze in 2018 and 2019 in Magog and a Silver in Devonport at the 2019 Para World Cup.He was a three-time Oceania Para-triathlon Champion PTS4 Men (2018, 2019 and 2020) and Australian Para-triathlon Champion (2019).

Following a shoulder injury, Clint retired from Para-triathlon and has turned his focus to Para-cycling.

He is passionate about telling his story to raise awareness about the importance of training and being risk aware.
