About Trinity

"I have been working with adult clients with neurological conditions, including traumatic and hypoxic brain injury, throughout my 27-year career as an Occupational Therapist. I have also worked with clients who have sustained spinal cord injury, burn injury and amputations.

I have worked across a variety of inpatient and community settings, supporting clients to identify and achieve meaningful goals. This has included driver assessment and developing and implementing driver rehabilitation programs. I believe this gives me a depth of understanding of the impact of the clients medical condition on their function and behaviour.

I have 10 years case management experience, providing services for clients who have sustained catastrophic injuries. My clients have complex needs and each has individual needs due to their personal circumstances. Many of my clients have complex and challenging behaviours affecting their daily function, personal relationships and ability to participate in meaningful activities and routines.

I have clients for whom English is a second language, necessitating awareness of various cultural norms, the use of interpreter and translation services. I regularly communicate with a variety of attendant care providers and other community based services. I also work with a variety of funding bodies.

I provide person-centred case management services, including supporting and engaging clients in developing and achieving their goals. Clients are supported to plan their supports, including linking with available community services and accessing informal supports where possible. I coordinate large and complex rehabilitation programs to promote participation. I monitor outcomes, including progress towards goal attainment, and work within legislative requirements."
