About Meg

"I grew up on a family farm near Coonabarabran and now live in Gunnedah with my family. I have always worked rurally, graduating from Wagga Wagga, including a stint flying into the Gulf of Carpentaria, and over recent years working in Narrabri and Gunnedah, providing a variety of dietitian services in hospitals and community settings.

I am an enthusiastic and motivated clinician who enjoys rural health care. My family and I live here, so I understand the wonderful aspects of rural living but also the limitations, in particular with health care.

I enjoy working in a team or on my own. I enjoy working with participants, setting goals and working towards those goals.

I enjoy change and have a resourceful attitude to exploring options in a creative manner. I highly value great communication and feel it is important in everything we do. I am able to work collaboratively and seek advice from other providers when needed."

Focus on Function is based in Gunnedah. We cover our surrounding areas providing occupational therapy and case management services. Our team lives and works in the wonderful towns we cover. We are a team of experienced therapists with a high value on community, collaboration, high-quality clinical services, compassion, professionalism and authenticity.
