"I provide case management services to clients following significant injuries as well as support for their families. As a rehabilitation counsellor with more than 20 years' experience, I have and continue supporting clients who have sustained a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation(s), burns, blindness, complex multi trauma and significant psychological trauma.

I have experience working across all injury schemes involving a considerable number of complex cases, stress, and psychological claims. I have highly-specialised knowledge and skills in motivational interviewing, vocational assessment, vocational counselling/training, job placement, case management, injury prevention and management, service coordination and independent living planning. I have strong report writing skills and excellent verbal communication and interview/liaison skills.

As a rehabilitation counsellor I can also provide services that are often not in the repertoire of other allied health professions. Importantly and uniquely I have the ability to assist clients navigate challenging systems and access what is required to achieve positive health outcomes, which is rewarding. I enjoy the complexity of working with clients from a broad base of ages and significant injuries as it allows me to utilise my range of clinical skills and think outside the box whilst maintaining a person-centred clinical approach. 

I cover an exceptionally large geographical area and the smart digital tools utilised by Perceptive Health enable my clients to access the latest technology and support to enable clear and consistent communication and treatment regardless of the barriers present. I am a highly-motivated and reliable therapist who is an excellent communicator and has a genuine passion for supporting my clients to achieve their goals."
