About Bryony

"I am a motivated occupational therapist with over 20 years experience. I graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2000, and have worked across a broad range of settings including inpatient and outpatient hospital rehabilitation, residential care, and in the community.

After graduating, I gained extensive experience working in adult rehabilitation, with clients with a broad range of conditions including stroke, acquired and traumatic brain injury, other neurological conditions, orthopaedic and surgical conditions, spinal injury, lower limb amputation and chronic pain conditions.

In 2011, I commenced working in private practice as a sole practitioner, before joining with a colleague to open a private practice clinic. I provide occupational therapy services within numerous Government programs, as well as private and other funding arrangements.

I am experienced in completing Activities of Daily Living and Initial Needs Assessments, prescription of complex equipment and environmental modifications, implementation of graded functional retraining programs, workplace assessments, job task analysis, upper limb therapy programs, manual handling and report writing.

I have a commitment to Continuing Professional Development, and I regularly participate in training courses and learning opportunities. In 2017, I completed recognised Units of Competency in relation to prescription of complex environmental modifications.

I provide clinical supervision to other occupational therapists at the private practice, and I have well-established skills in customer service, complaints management and quality improvement.
