About Angela

Angela is a qualified social worker. She brings over 10 years' experience working within both the disability sector and working with children, youth and families through the foster care system. Angela utilises her knowledge and skill to provide case management for vulnerable adults and children, applying a supportive, therapeutic client-centered approach.

Angela's expertise include the provision of detailed biopsychosocial assessment, to determine need and approach which includes stakeholder engagement, linking clients with service providers, monitoring and managing relationships; clinical injury education, and advocacy, to uphold the rights of vulnerable people.

Angela has continued to build her clinical and case management skills since working at Rehability Australia where she has been exposed to clients from varied backgrounds not only with Lifetime Care, but also the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Angela has a special interest in managing complex family relationships and diversity.  

As a social worker, Angela values collaborative practice and works to empower individuals to achieve their life goals. Specialty areas: acquired brain injury; spinal cord injury, neurological impairment, complex care and managing family relationships

Rehability Australia offers specialised services in case management and social work for people who have an acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions including spinal cord injury. As a team of Social Workers, we uniquely offer a dual focus on improving individual wellbeing and addressing external barriers.

Our aim is to provide a coordinated, integrated service with a team approach that focuses on achievement of client-centred, functional goals that ultimately optimise the quality of life, function and community integration for the person living with an injury or disability.
