 YNA provides a comprehensive range of disability, healthcare and support services nation-wide.

Our attendant (or personal) care services prioritise the delivery of person-centred, compassionate care. As our experienced staff understand that everyone’s circumstances are different, they ensure services are tailored to support the unique needs, preferences and choices of each individual.

Uniquely, our attendant care teams are led by nurses with extensive experience and strong connections in their communities.

YNA also provides staffing support for hospitals, healthcare facilities and aged care facilities - recruiting and placing thousands of healthcare staff including nurses and midwives each year.

Our approach

We place participants at the centre of our work.

Our Consumer Advisory Committee, which includes people with disability, provides us with feedback and advice from a client perspective which influences the design and delivery of our services.

Our team

Our attendant care staff hold a minimum of Certificate III qualifications: they also receive ongoing training and competency assessments from our nursing team to ensure the delivery of support services is safe, appropriate and delivered to meet client needs.

All our staff undergo a rigorous recruitment and screening process, including completing relevant competencies. All staff hold criminal history clearances, Working With Children Checks, NDIS Working Screening Clearance, first aid and manual handling qualifications. All nurses hold current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration.
