Afea Care Services is an award-winning provider of disability and aged healthcare services.

For over 15 years, we have provided compassionate home and community care across Sydney and Melbourne, and have found there is no substitute for experience. 

The Afea difference lies in our agile approach to build the best support team around each individual client, whether you have low or complex care requirements. Your dedicated Care Coordinator or Care Manager will speak with you personally about your specific circumstances so we can implement the perfect care to suit your needs and interests.

You can expect intimate and positive rapport with our diverse Afea team.

We currently employ 600+ support workers who speak 50+ languages and come from diverse cultural backgrounds. We also have a team of Registered Nurses on staff to provide training and support to carers onsite and to case manage clients with complex needs.

Afea works in accordance with our ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems certification, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and the Aged Care Commission, so you can be assured our services are effective and compliant with best practices.

We are a registered NDIS provider, an approved provider of Home Care Package (My Aged Care) services and an appointed attendant care provider for Insurance and Care NSW (icare).

Complex Care We assist clients living with disability or chronic conditions such as acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, diabetes, epilepsy and other physical and neurological ailments. Our skilled and compassionate Carers and Registered Nurses can provide a wide range of services, including PEG feeding and management, enteral feeding and management, manual handling, medication management, complex bowel care and more.

Personal Care We can assist you with all aspects of personal care, such as hygiene, dressing, toileting or the use of aids, devices and appliances. We will take careful consideration of your daily routines and personal preferences, ensuring that our support enables your independence and comfort in your own home.

Social and Community Access Connecting with social and community activities for recreation, work or study is an integral part of a fun and fulfilling life. You may be able to enjoy some activities independently, but if you require assistance, Afea Carers are here to help.

Domestic Assistance We’ll lend a helping hand to keep your home tidy and neat. We will assist you with light housekeeping tasks so you can spend more time on your hobbies or welcoming friends to your home.

Mental Health Support If you are living with depression, anxiety or other mental health conditions that make daily life challenging, our Carers are here to lend a hand. Our qualified and compassionate Carers can provide mental health support, assisting you with daily activities and encouraging connections within your local community.
