Insurance for NSW manages the Treasury Managed Fund (TMF) on behalf of the NSW Treasury. It provides a comprehensive state of protection for NSW
government agencies.
What does the TMF cover?
The TMF provides coverage and services relating to:
- Workers Compensation – this covers TMF agencies in the event an employee suffers a work-related injury or illness. This is in accordance with NSW Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislation.
- General Lines – this covers legal liability, motor vehicle and property as well as other miscellaneous areas.

TMF coverage also includes Volunteer Organisations such as NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW State Emergency Service, Marine Rescue NSW, Surf Life Saving NSW and NSW Volunteer Rescue Association.
