About Rosemary

"I am an experienced and skilled social worker who is available to take referrals for you, your family member or clients to assist in the management of their treatment, rehabilitation and/or care needs. The goal of my intervention is to maximise independence, increase quality of life and promote a belief in individual capacity. This is achieved through relational practice which focuses on goal setting, planning, reviewing and a strong partnership. I have a bachelor’s degree in youth work and a master’s in social work. I am a registered social worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers. I have specifically worked with children and young people who have experienced trauma for two decades and as well other vulnerable individuals.

I am committed to the values of respect, social justice and having integrity in the professional space.

The goal of my work is to operate at the interface between people and their social, cultural, physical and natural environments. Through a person centred approach, I provide casework, assessment, counselling, family work, and advocacy. Through a lens of person-in-environment perspective I provide interventions that address issues at both the personal and social level. Secondly, I aim to enhance an individual's wellbeing and address any outside influences which affect functional wellbeing or create inequality, injustice, and discrimination."
