About Mandy

"Mandy graduated as an occupational therapist in 2005. Mandy has extensive experience in providing case management and occupational therapy services to people with complex and rare physical disabilities, including acquired spinal cord injuries. Mandy has clinical experience in acute, rehabilitation and community settings. She has worked across the paediatric, adolescent and adult age groups throughout metropolitan and regional NSW and the ACT.   

Mandy has a particular interest in paediatric spinal cord injuries and other complex and rare physical disabilities. She has extensive experience in working with students with physical disabilities in both government and non-government schools and tertiary education, including at key transition points. Mandy has a strong commitment in fostering inclusion and participation for people with disabilities in mainstream school and community settings, with the aim to support people to achieve age-appropriate milestones and goals through the ages.  

Mandy is extremely passionate in supporting people with disabilities reach their hopes, dreams and aspirations – to live their best life. Mandy is flexible and creative with service delivery and works collaboratively with the person with the injury, significant others, treating medical and health professionals and icare to ensure goals are achieved together."
