At NDNS we focus on consumer directed care to enable people to remain in their own home, by providing personalised support services to maintain their level of independence and wellness at home.

Our team includes Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistant in Nurses and Domestic Assistants enabling us to assist with a wide range of service needs from basic care, complex care, respite services and domestic/shopping services. Our team attend ongoing training, upskilling and can provide client specific care. Our workers undertake an orientation program which includes police checks and mentor/competency training. All staff are supervised by a professional Registered Nurse. NDNS office is centrally located at Shortland, with an after-hours emergency contact available.

With our excellent team of skilled personnel, NDNS are able to provide services for all care types including:

Our clinical governance committee ensures an environment of clinical excellence and adherence to policy and procedures for safety for all. The NDNS Quality Framework is designed to ensure that recipients receive the services they require, and that services are delivered in a way that respects and protects the rights of the recipient by:

  • measuring compliance with the relevant Standards
  • monitoring quality of services provided to the recipient, and
  • managing risk, including compliance with legislation and regulations.

NDNS complies with the following Standards:

  • The Australian Nursing Council National Competency Standards for the Registered and Enrolled Nurse
  • Competency Standards for Community Registered Nurse (ACCNS) 2002.

Certification under the:

  • Attendant Care Industry Management System (ACIMSS) Standards 2013
  • NSW Disability Service Standards 2012.
