Scott North

Scott brings strong risk and compliance experience to the icare team, leading risk management, internal audit, strategy, technology, legal, compliance, and accounting teams.

Scott has acted as interim GE at icare previously, as well as being the Deputy Chief Risk Officer at Bank of Queensland where he was responsible for non-financial risk management, specifically operational risk, assurance and non-financial risk frameworks that support the strategic direction and operations of the Group, and Chief Risk Officer at Youi, where he was responsible for all aspects of the strategic, operational and compliance risk management framework for Youi Australia and New Zealand.

Scott is an Executive in Residence (Fellow) at the University of Melbourne and member of the University of Sunshine Coast Audit & Risk Committee. He holds a Masters of Business and Technology, Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Fellow Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA), and Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
