icare offers free app-based training platform for businesses
In partnership with EdApp, icare has designed a free Work Health & Safety (WHS) online education program called "Safety Locker".
What is Safety Locker?
In partnership with EdApp (owned by Safety Culture), icare has created an innovative micro-learning tool available either via desktop or mobile app.
In as little as 3-5 minutes, NSW employees and workers can start learning the key WHS essentials in short interactive lessons. Current courses include:
- Work Health & Safety for Small Business
- Winning over Difficult Customers
- From Injury to Recovery: A Guide for Employers
- Managing Mental Health & Psychosocial Risk at Work
New courses will be added regularly over time.
Who is Safety Locker for?
This free new micro-learning tool is designed for NSW small and medium sized businesses, but especially those without a dedicated safety team or manager.
The launch of Safety Locker is in response to feedback that employers and workers don't have time and resources to attend full-day training.
Instead, many NSW businesses want to be able to upskill in WHS at a time and place that fits within their busy schedules.
How can businesses access Safety Locker?
Safety Locker is completely free to use - now and always.
We're currently piloting this service to understand whether NSW businesses are interested in free mobile based training in WHS.
While the platform is active, customers will never be charged a fee.
NSW employers and workers can simply click the below button to our registration form.
After registration, customers will receive an email from EdAPP with their log-in credentials for Safety Locker, and can start learning WHS right away!
