About Sharee

"I hold a Master of Social Work and have extensive experience providing case management and clinical social work to promote the recovery and the resilience of people living with a brain injury and their support networks. I have been delivering services to Lifetime Care participants since 2009.

As well as a mentor of health professionals in this field, I have been responsible for the development and facilitation of several educational and therapeutic group programs for people with a brain injury. My publications include co-authoring an anger management manual which is a group program designed to coach people in self-awareness and the skills to manage mild to moderate anger following a brain injury and a series of education programs focusing on memory, stress management and leisure skills following a brain injury.

I maintain a strong interest in the loss and grief issues that can be experienced by people living with a brain injury and their families. I bring to my case management, the skills to promote the wellbeing and adjustment of a participant and their support networks, as they redefine themselves and their goals following this life changing event. I believe that pivotal to the success of a program is supporting and upskilling both the person who has sustained an injury and the people who in turn support them.

I am an approved care needs assessor for adult participants of Lifetime Care."
