About Rebecca
"I am an occupational therapist who enjoys working with people to maximise their life enjoyment and achieve the goals they find meaningful (completed Bachelor of Health Science – Occupational Therapy in 2002 and Masters Health Science in 2008).
My clinical experience spans across inpatient and community settings both nationally and internationally, with a strong focus on traumatic brain injury, neurological rehabilitation and recovery following complex trauma.
I have worked within motor accident and workers compensation schemes helping participants utilise these frameworks to access appropriate supports and resources to optimise their recovery. I am an effective communicator, experienced in working with people who have cognitive impairments and am an approved care needs assessor. I can assist participants and their families to understand changes that have occurred following an injury, and guide them in identifying goals, developing plans, and creating a coordinated team with a shared purpose of enabling them achieve their objectives."
