About Katrina

"I graduated in 1999 from the University of Sydney as an occupational therapist, and commenced work in the public hospital system in NSW in inpatient aged care, orthopaedics and neurological rehabilitation settings. I worked in various hospitals in specialist stroke rehabilitation units, orthopaedics and aged care providing inpatient, outpatient and multidisciplinary clinic services to patients following stroke, acquired brain injury, chronic neurological conditions, lower limb amputation, orthopaedic and surgical conditions. Completing a Graduate Certificate in Applied Science (Neuroscience) in 2005, I have a particular interested in the area of brain injury.

I have extensive experience providing occupational therapy services within the NSW workers compensation, Comcare and CTP schemes, completing activities of daily living and initial needs assessments, providing case management and functional upgrading of activities of living. I also assist severely injured participants with return to work, completing job task analysis, workplace assessments, ergonomic assessments and facilitating graded and sustainable return to work. I have been providing case management services to severely injured clients since 2014.

I enjoy working with participants and their families to achieve their potential and provide quality outcomes for all stakeholders. I work within a collaborative team of other Lifetime Care accredited case managers at Prestige Health Services Australia who have varied backgrounds in occupational therapy, psychology and social work."
