About Karen
"Karen is a registered nurse who has extensive experience working with people who have experienced life changing injuries such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and amputation. She understands the impact these injuries have on people and their families and works closely with them to find the services and supports that they need to maximise their recovery and return to community life.
Karen’s background as a registered nurse provides her with special expertise in case managing people whose injury is complicated by complex medical needs.
Karen has a special interest in working with people who have complex care needs and she is experienced in developing individual models of care to meet these needs. Karen enjoys working collaboratively with people to build their own skills in managing their needs and her focus is always on maximizing independence and assisting people to find the best pathway forward following their injury.

Bowill Case Management Service is a comprehensive case management service for people who have sustained severe injuries including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries and amputations. Bowill Case Management Service has relationships with a strong network with providers of therapy, care, vocational and recreational services in the areas that it provides service to and works collaboratively with these providers to make sure that people have access to all the services that they need."
