About Jenny
"After graduating in 1995, I worked as an occupational therapist on the trauma ward at a metropolitan hospital, providing support to people who were often facing the biggest upheaval in their life so far. I love working with people, to identify what they wanted to achieve, be it having a shower or getting back to driving a car.
In 1998, I completed post-graduate training to become an occupational therapy driving assessor, and continue to thoroughly enjoy working in this area – supporting people to get back to driving or to get back to being a passenger. I have since completed qualifications in heavy vehicle driving assessment and complex home modifications.
I manage a team of six in my private practice. As a mental health first aider, I have the skills and experience to work with clients who have a mental health condition on top of their severe injury. As a Justice of the Peace, you can be assured of my integrity.
I am committed to continuing professional development, clocking up well in excess of 100 hours of additional training each calendar year. I also have lived experience of parenting, trauma, parenting a child with autism, and severe adolescent mental health challenges."
