About Emma

Emma has been working as an occupational therapist since 1994. Emma has been providing case management services and supporting injured people through the compulsory third party (CTP) scheme since 2001 and icare since 2009. She enjoys being able to work together with people through their rehabilitation journey to set and achieve meaningful goals that enable them to lead happy and successful lives, despite their injuries and/or disabilities.

Emma’s experience includes working within hospital, community health, charitable organisations, workplace rehabilitation and private rehabilitation settings. Her experience is varied across different disability and injury types including spinal cord injuries; acquired and traumatic brain injuries; blindness; amputations; burns; progressive degenerative conditions i.e. MS, Parkinson’s, MND; early onset dementia; age related health conditions; mental health and intellectual disabilities.

During her time providing case management services to icare participants and in other funding models, Emma worked with participants with complex disabilities and complex social backgrounds. She works collaboratively with all relevant parties to ensure participants’ goals are achieved and requirements for the funding bodies are completed on time.

She is a FIM credentialed and provide FIM assessments regularly for interim and lifetime applications. She is also an approved dispute assessor for icare.
