HenderCare and icare

We have proudly been supporting Lifetime Care participants since 2012 in South Australia, and more recently, icare participants in New South Wales. We are experienced in supporting people with physical and cognitive disabilities to live more independently. From basic support to complex care needs associated with spinal cord injury or acquired brain injury we have the skills and the right team to support you. We are accredited to the Attendant Care Industry Standard (ACIS 2013), the NSW Disability Standards and ISO9001 to provide quality supports and care.

How we support icare participants?

We understand that every participant is different, which means your support plan is tailored to your needs. We will work with you, icare, your medical team and your family to make sure you are receiving the most appropriate care and support.

When you choose HenderCare, you’re choosing a team who are flexible, responsive and available to support you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round. We have a 24 hour on-call service so there is always someone available to assist you.

Our team

Our team is made up of care attendants, support workers, registered, enrolled and specialist nurses, allied health professionals, domestic assistants and home & garden maintenance staff. Every HenderCare team member goes through a rigorous induction and has the appropriate qualifications for the services they provide. Because your care is all about you, we credential staff to meet the needs of your specific service.

All of our staff have current criminal history record, working with children checks and background checks. All professional staff have appropriate AHPRA registration and staff providing direct care have a certificate 3 qualification as a minimum. All staff also hold first aid and CPR qualifications. Staff are required to attend annual professional training and maintain mandatory competencies to remain part of our team.
